With a 1680×1050-pixel resolution, this LCD TV has a 16:10 aspect ratio which causes every image to appear as if it’s been zoomed in. The contrast is above average, but the images aren’t as sharp as on the other TVs on test.
There’s an integrated DVD player and like all of the sets here, it has a Freeview tuner, but more than one HDMI input would be useful for those of us with more than one games console. Given the £340 price tag, a decent set of built-in speakers wouldn’t go amiss either. The Grundig’s feeble, three watt offerings just aren’t up to scratch.
